I just watched the video again to make sure the compression artifacts I saw were not caused by the copious amounts of Hoegaarden I drank Saturday night wishing I could already log into the game. The game itself looks amazing and I am highly impressed with the optimization as I can run it with everything turned all the way up and have yet to notice my framerate drop. The video itself has compression artifacts which are highly visible at 1920x1200 (maybe they aren't so bad at other resolutions). The opening cinematic, while rendered with the in game engine, is an actual recorded video, not a scripted sequence. Thank you for your appraisal of my lack of hardware capability, but either you misunderstood what I said or I wasn't clear enough.
